Like the elaborate paper masterpieces of Emma Van Leest, the large-scale cut-outs done by Tokyo-based artist Risa Fukui are brimming with intricate details. Mounted on clear panels, her works seem to be large doodles, but view them up-close and you’ll notice Risa’s skillful snips and slices on sheets of paper.
